Explore stunning biodiversity across a range of ecosystems in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Our tours run for approximately 2.5 hours, and in that time, you will learn about the ecology of fungi, how to identify a variety of species in the field, and how to be a citizen scientist contributing to our understanding of Australian taxonomy.

Learn how to search for wild mushrooms, including prized edible species (please note collection of fungi is not allowed on the tour). Receive tips for photography and participate in a Q&A session where you can access local knowledge and get answers to all of your mushroom-related questions. Participants each receive a copy our handbook: An Introduction to Mushroom Identification.
